PTS Global Theological Accreditation

Are you a Bible college or seminary that wants to join a network of like-minded institutions that affirm the historical evangelical faith and the mission of Christ? Do you want to enhance the quality and credibility of your theological education and equip your students to become faithful biblical expositors? Do you want to benefit from the resources, support, and partnership of a global accreditation body that values excellence, integrity, and diversity?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then we have good news for you. Paraclete Theological Society (PTS) is now offering Global Theological Accreditation (GTA) to Bible colleges and seminaries around the world. GTA is a rigorous and relevant accreditation process that evaluates and recognizes theological institutions that meet the standards of academic quality, institutional effectiveness, and missional impact.

By becoming a GTA member, you will join a growing family of theological institutions that share a common vision and commitment to advancing the Kingdom of God through sound biblical education and practical ministry training. You will also enjoy the following benefits:

  • Best practices for curriculum development, faculty development, student services, and institutional management.
  • Opportunity to participate in regional and global conferences, workshops, and consultations on various topics related to theological education and mission.
  • Visibility and recognition among peers, churches, ministries, and potential students and donors.
  • Accountability and feedback from a team of experienced and qualified peer reviewers who will help you improve and grow as an institution.

To apply for GTA, you need to meet the following criteria:

  • You must be Covenant Member of PEMFCI
  • You must affirm the Statement of Faith of PTS, which is based on the historic creeds and confessions of the Christian church.
  • You must demonstrate compliance with the GTA standards and criteria, along with the required documents and fees.
  • You must host a site visit by a GTA evaluation team, who will verify, validate and make a recommendation to the GTA Commission.
  • You must receive a positive decision from the GTA Commission, who will grant you an initial accreditation status for a period of five years, subject to periodic reviews.

If you are interested in applying for GTA, please visit our website at www.pemin.org/GTA for more information and instructions. You can also contact us at gta@pemin.org or +1 704-458-4634 for any inquiries or assistance.
