The Certified Biblical Educator

Certified Christian Educator is a person called by God to a ministry of education. These educators demonstrate their faith in and love for Jesus Christ, and they are dedicated to a life of faith. They exhibit seriousness of purpose, honesty of character, and joy in service. To become certified, Christian educators are expected to have skills and training in the following areas:


  1. Biblical Interpretation: Understanding and interpreting the Bible.
  2. Theology: Familiarity with theological principles.
  3. Human Development: Knowledge of how individuals grow and learn.
  4. Religious Education Theory and Practice: Techniques for teaching and nurturing faith.

Old Testament Survey (3 credit hours)


         New Testament Survey (3 credit hours)


      Hermeneutics (3 credit hours)


Pauline Epistles (3 credit hours)


       Major Prophets (3 credit hours)


Minor Prophets (3 credit hours)


Wisdom Literature (3 credit hours)
